How far would you follow a brand you like? How far would the brand go to appeal to you?
Dunkin Donuts, Kodak and Comcast are three brands that reached out to me when I asked for their help. It’s not because I’m some super-blogger or Twitter maestro – at least in my mind, but because they have seen the new change in the marketing world.
Starting to fall are the old demographics and starting to emerge are actual interests, opinions and values.However, many businesses are still slow to embrace social media, blogging and reaching out to customers when they need help. Developing , and arguably already developed, is a new “Sphere of Influence” which I write about in this week’s MediaBullseye column.
If you like emerging business stats that make the case, you’ll love this. If not, you can tolerate it – there really aren’t that many numbers.
