One of the truly wonderful things about social media is you get to follow events, like conferences, from a far. In my case, it was reading the thoughts of people attending the recent Forrester Consumer Forum. The great things about these events is attendees quote, mostly on Twitter, the major thoughts from the keynotes and other sessions. It’s easy to follow up the conversations of others.

One number that stuck in my mind is that Forrester estimates that there are now 500 billion impressions made between people on social media about brands.

Read how this changes the world of perception in my MediaBullseye column.
